As a girl I collected tiny roadside flowers for my mother who was always gracious enough to display them in vases and water bowls in our Florida home. I helped dad collect cuttings of hibiscus so he could nurture them into bushes for our yard. The hydrangeas in my grandmother’s yard served as a symbol of summer and joyful relaxation.
Hi, I am Jackie. Flowers brought me happiness as far back as I can remember.
It was when I was fifteen that I first had a glimpse of the flower business.
A good friend’s aunt needed help in her flower shop on holidays and we answered the call. We copied her flower arrangements to fill orders and delivered arrangements. I never forgot the joy on the recipients’ faces when they received the gift of flowers. This seemed like the most fun one could ever expect on a job.
I went a different direction in my career, always hoping to return to my love of flowers. Now I have my own flower business that allows me the excitement of delivering joy through flowers every day. I couldn’t ask for more!
